Inquire about adopting me

Meet Baby G 💙 named because he looks so much like our late Gremlin ❣️ He is the sweetest little guy! We estimate he was born in September so he’s still a puppy. He is looking for a loving home able to do puppy training and give him an amazing life!

He is a very energetic happy puppy. He is fully house trained and walks great on leash. He currently lives 3 resident cats and occasional foster cats. He can be very respectful but also loves to play with the willing cats. He can chase but never out of malice only play.

He is great with kids, again he’s a puppy so good supervision is needed. He can easily knock over people without meaning to but he loves loves loves kids!

He loves adventures and walks and meeting new dogs and people. He is great in the car.

He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and ready for his forever home!! #adoptme

Inquire about adopting me

Meet Teddy!

Teddy has been in foster care since April of 2023! During his year in foster care we have made some major medical care and training milestones.

Teddy came to us a scared, timid and very sick boy. He had major eye infections in both eyes and his previous owners were at a loss and frustrated with how to care for him. He would shut down with touch and never wanted to be around people. He was even timid with accepting food.

Luckily we found an amazing foster home who was patient and kind and doting on him! Our amazing partner vet Brintnell quickly found multiple treatments for him. In July he went for a full sedation and had his face shaved and we found severe burns to his face due to the discharge and matting of fur. His wounds were thoroughly cleaned. And he got antibiotics and special cleaner to help his skin heal. But we quickly realized that his eyes were not the cause of infections, it was his TEETH!!

Teddy had rotting teeth into his gums. In august of 2023, he went back to the vet for an extensive dental surgery - it took 2 vets, over 6 hours! He had 25 teeth removed! His road to recovery was long and extensive but his amazing foster family did everything they could to make him comfortable.

On top of these major surgeries, his anxiety was through the roof. He would scream when his face was cleaned or when he was touched! He would go completely stiff when he had a leash attached to him. He would run under the bed and hid from people and he needed daily face washing! Luckily his foster home worked with an amazing trainer and got more knowledge on how to help Teddy AND Teddy was introduced to a friend - ZOE! Zoe brought out a side of Teddy we dreamed about. She showed him confidence and patience and together Teddy brightened and learnt to trust his foster home. To keep this going we started Teddy on anxiety medications. He is amazing at taking them gabapentin and anafranil. He loves the pill pockets and treats he gets!

Teddy is finally ready to meet new people and find his Furever home! He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and stable in his health! He will need a loving home who will keep his medications and confidence, who will keep him healthy in his golden years!

Teddy turns 10 years old this month!!!

Inquire about adopting me

Hi! Kara over here, or as my foster mom calls me, Karabear as I am the cuddliest most loving dog ever ! (Completely unbiased opinion)

I’ve been with my foster family for a few months now and they are amazed at how quickly I’ve picked up on routine and training, it helps that they always have yummy treats, they say I’m food motivated, whatever that means ! I’m also learning to play with toys, still scared of the squeaky ones, but I love tennis balls, and shredding stuffies. I don’t shred furniture or shoes, only toys ! I am also very cozy at home so I don’t feel the need to run out the door as soon as it opens.

I’ve gotten to meet a lot of new human friends and love the attention and belly rubs, everyone falls for my big puppy eyes ! I love cuddles, and hugs, even from little humans. I never take food from little hands, but I’m always on the look out in case they drop something, or leave something unattended, I like to help with clean up!

I also enjoy time with four legged friends, my favourite games to play are chase and bark. My foster sister was a little hesitant about me at first, but she has warmed up to me and taught me a few things about boundaries.  I respect human and dog friend’s space.

If all these things sound like the perfect dog, give me a shout !

Kara is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed on November 7, 2022. She is doing very well and is very excited to meet you!
