ADOPTION PENDING

MEET  WILLOW

She has had a tough road since coming to NASAP in February. Immediately upon intake, Willow was diagnosed with severe bladder stones that required an extensive surgery. Willow is now 100% back to her fun loving, spirited self. Twice in her life she has had bladder surgery for this condition, and is predisposed to it reoccurring again (struvite crystal build up). Willow will require semi-annual vet visits which may include urinalysis, xrays, and/or bloodwork to ensure these do not recurr and are being managed appropriately. She also requires a special veterinary prescribed diet. The regular visits and diagnostics plus the special food can be expensive. Any potential adopter must be able to provide this to her for the rest of her life, without exception. It is expected with proper management and monitoring, she should not have to go through this again.

Willow is very playful and fun loving. She is super active. Loves to play catch. She likes to sleep beside you or on you if she can. She is great on leash walks and is very well trained. She is completely house trained and will cue that she needs to go outside by running to the door. She is completely comfortable being outside - with the proper snow gear :) She loves all people and kids and does really well with all dogs she has encountered.

Willow is looking for a loving home who will follow her strict diet regimen and veterinary upkeep to keep her healthy and happy. Apply today to meet her and see if you could be her FURever home
