Meet Hope! She came to NASAP in late October, 2018, from our partner pound. She came to us extremely pregnant and actually delivered 7 beautiful babies 9 days after coming into care! She is playful and loving. Her favourite is to cuddle with her people and play! She is fun loving and energetic with her own puppy energy. She was a loving mother and very playful as they grew up. When they were only 3 weeks old she developed severe mastitis and had to stop whelping. She took to helping the foster parents care for the babies and enjoying the cuddles and training her babies received. After 9 weeks with her babies they were ready for her to leave and she has enjoyed getting ALL the attention. In foster care she has been working on her leash skills, house training and basic puppy training. Mastering the tricks “shake a paw”, sit and “four on the floor”. She has had a full work up and received a clean bill of health. She was spayed this past week and she is recovering very well. The poor girl does not like to be sick and shows you immediately when she is under the weather becoming withdrawn and sullen, so we are ecstatic when her amazing personality comes shining back through. She is microchipped, vaccinated and spayed.
She is looking for a loving home who is active and ready to spoil her, while continuing her puppy training. She is eager to please and ready to learn. She is good with other dogs and very playful so she would love playful friends. She has lived with a cat but she really wanted to play and chase so she needs more training to make her a cats best friend. She loves kids and can get very eager, her puppy energy needs a knowledgable family or one very excited to learn and develop with her. She cant wait to meet her FURever home!
