Meet Hanna Banana, She is a spunky playful puppy that was found outside alone with her brother. It was unknown how long they were on their own but Banana was very skinny when she was found. She is gaining weight well and healthy.
We believe Banana is a combination of collie, Shepard, and husky. She is wicked smart and likes to talk when she is excited.
She is very sweet and LOVES to cuddle – people, her brother, toys, she is a magnet for the snuggle. She is very much a lap dog!
Banana will do anything for food and is learning that food will always be available. She is working on counter surfing and impulse training, she loves her puzzle bowls. She is super smart and food motivated so has been easily working on basic manners and training. She already knows sit and she is working on wearing a harness to go for leash walks.
She is house trained and for the few times the door is too far she is pee pad trained.
She is cautious and building her confidence. When she is comfortable she is the ringleader of play and mischief. When meeting new people she hides, on walks she stays close. She needs a family who will be patient and continue to help build her confidence with the world.
Bananas ideal home would be a space with a backyard so she can continue to enjoy outside in a safe space.
A home with another dog so she can learn and have a buddy.
A home that will do puppy training and confidence building training, force free training is a must.
A home with older kids would be great, she can be skittish so kids who will be gentle with her.
Banana had her Spay surgery February 17. She is microchipped, had 2 rounds of DTAPP vaccine. Her third will be March 16. Her rabies vaccine will be once she is 6 months old.
