Meet Isha

Adopted

Hi my name is Isha. I came to NASAP after I was found alone when my owner passed away and it is unknown how long I was on my own. But I’m coming along much better now. I am a very bold, energetic, curious and intelligent girl. I basically do everything big.

Full disclosure, I am a lot of kitty and need to be in a home that doesn’t have small children.  If you work from home or are retired that would be ideal to give me enough play and stimulation. I love to hunt and I’m still learning that hands aren’t toys. I need a human who understands ‘cattitude’ and can read my body language when I’ve had enough. I can be a bit socially awkward. I need a tutor who is patient with my quirks and won’t get frustrated when I’m being extra. I might do well with other high energy cats to help burn my endless energy but I have never had that opportunity yet.

I come when I am called and love to follow my humans everywhere they go. I’m not a lap cat and not sure if I will ever be. I have a hard time with physical touch for too long as I am very sensitive. I will greet you at the door with sweet meows and head bonks when you come home.  I will also sit with you at a distance while you watch tv.

I love mental stimulation games and wand toys A LOT. I am also learning to play fetch and do tricks. I learning clicker training. My foster parents think it’s cute that I like playing with water from the faucet. I am pretty fascinated by water and will even sit on the edge of the bath tub when you take a bath. I don’t care much about kitty beds and will sleep at the base of your bed at night if I am feeling stimulated enough during the day.

Inquire about me if you are looking for a playful companion! I am spayed, microchipped and vaccinated for FRCP and rabies.
