Hi, my name is Nugget. I was born outside and lived without human interaction for the first 9 weeks of my life. I’m quick and spicy, and alluded my rescuers for a lot longer than my siblings! It was very lonely and scary, and as happy as I was to be reunited with my siblings, it took me a long time to decide that “people” were kind of okay. I was named after the chicken nuggets that they used to try and lure me into their traps, which is kind of cool, I do like chicken nuggets!
Nugget required a lot of time and patience to gain trust with his foster mom. It wasn’t until he was introduced to the resident cat that he started to drop his guard. He is an absolute sweetheart of a boy, but needs to find a home that is understanding of his past, and is willing to give him the love and patience that he needs. He would likely do best in a home with a confident, adult cat. He has come such a long way in foster care, and is such a beautiful boy with a gentle soul. He would love to find a home that can continue to help him build confidence and give him all the love he deserves.
