We Adopted Sophie 10 years ago (2016) from NASAP. She was a longer foster, but after my sister and I sent our dad 100s of links to fosters, he kept going back to Sophie’s profile. She seemed like a gentle giant. Her first owners decided after having kids that they did not have time for her and she had some behavioral issues. That was not going be an issue with us, as there was no small kids in the house. She had ZERO issues! After meeting with Sophie, it was decided that she was going to her forever home. Sadly, this past week, we had to let Sophie go. She was 15 years old. Sophie had her best friends, Louie (Chihuahua) and Fraizer (Cat), She was great with children and animals. Right from the beginning, she was protective of her family and home. She loved hiking and being outside but also loved her air conditioning. She was the biggest snacker and refused any vegetables. We called her Sassy Sophie because her personality was big and she was hilarious. Sophie will be missed and will be forever in our hearts.
